About 48halvtreds
48halvtreds is a vision for how we can create a vibrant town with nature, business, and community in Stubbekøbing, a small town on Northeast Falster.
The project is based on a disused silo and associated warehouse buildings at the port of Stubbekøbing. 48halvtreds means ‘4850’ and is the postcode for Stubbekøbing.
With a climate crisis and a biodiversity crisis in full swing, global challenges must be solved locally. We start in Stubbekøbing. We want to create the rural town of the future – a place where communities, nature, food, culture and education go hand in hand.
